Blumenauer says no to Transportation

I went to hear Earl Blumenauer tonight. Just what I needed. I’ll smile for a few days.

A room full of very smart and accomplished people looked up at the stage and felt comfortable because they knew they weren’t the smartest in the room—whatever they thought about who sat across the table.

Unless I misheard or misunderstood, Blumenauer politely and clearly said no to Secretary of Transportation. He’d love three months with the department, but his life doesn’t allow the commitment of secretary.
